What is Carbalose ™?
Carbalose™ is a new flour that will revolutionize the Low-Carb market. In most recipes, Carbalose™ behaves like wheat flour, because unlike similar products, it is made mostly from wheat, yet it lacks most non-fiber Carbohydrates.
When used instead of normal flour, Carbalose™ can reduce the Net Carb count by as much as 90%. There are products that claim to be “Low-Carb flour”, but they just don’t function as well. They are generally made from soy or other non-wheat components, and are not only difficult to work with, but also taste poorly.
Carbalose™ is as close to real flour as you can get without being real flour.
How is Carbalose ™ made?
Carbalose™ is made through a unique process and contains Enzyme-Modified
Wheat, as well as Plant fiber, Wheat protein and some unique conditioners,
enzymes and emulsifiers. Carbalose™ does not contain any soy protein,
sugar-alcohols, dairy, animal-originated, trans-fatty, or saturated fat products.
Upon request, it is also available soy-free.
Are there variations of Carbalose ™?
Yes. Carbalose™ has been developed into white flour, whole wheat flour, pasta flour, corn flour, masa flour, and potato flour versions. Complete mixes for breads, rolls, biscuits, pancakes, waffles, pizza dough, cornbread, pretzels, scones, and muffins already exist. Carbalose™ can be customized for your particular flour needs. We can also adjust Net Carb counts to any particular application or guideline.
How do I know Carbalose ™ will work?
Carbalose™ has been tested successfully in a high-speed automated environment, and in artisan bakeries. On staff, we have food scientists and master bakers that can guide you through your individual Low-Carb project.
What is Carbquik ™?
Carbquik™ is a complete, Low-Carb baking mix made with Carbalose™
that is similar to Bisquik ™. Since Carbquik™ is made from Carbalose
™ instead of regular flour, it contains 90% less Net Carbs than Bisquik
™! Carbquik™ can be used in many recipes, such as biscuits, muffins,
pancakes, waffles, pizza crust,
and dumplings, as well as many cake and sweet dough recipes.
Can I Trust Your Numbers?
Yes. We have submitted our products, in both dry and baked form, to two independent food labs. The results are identical to our claims.
How is Carbalose™ packaged?
Carbalose™ and Carbquik™ are available in a wide variety of generic and custom packaging types and sizes. Carbalose™ can be packaged in bags or containers, as well as in bulk 25, 50 and 1,500 pound totes. Most industrial, food service, or retail needs can be met.
